Thermo-Polymer Foam: The most reliable panels for any building or structure
The design concept for our Next Gen Thermal Machine is based on the Siemens S7 300 Series PLC, equipped with an operator panel, aligned machine variables and working parameters.
The end product is a thermal insulation composite panel based on a rigid polyurethane or polyisocyanurate foam covered with fiber glass fabric or a thin layer of polymer, based on the environment in which they will be used.
Temperature Control
With excellent resistance to heat flow, highly-loaded aerogel coatings have the ability to greatly reduce heat loss with fractions of an inch of coating. In thermal modeling (3EPlus) and supporting testing, aerogel-based coatings have shown a more than 50% reduction in power needed to maintain temperature in heated tanks with as little as 150 mils (0.150 inches) of coating.
Reduced Energy Consumption
Providing unmatched performance as an insulating additive, our ENOVA® aerogel is the foundation of a new class of thermal insulative coatings. These products are resolving long standing issues in the areas of energy efficiency, safe touch and condensation control, all while bonding to the substrate surface, thus greatly minimizing the likelihood of corrosion under insulation (CUI).
Powerful Fix
When surface temperatures drop below the dew point, condensation forms and moisture damage is soon to follow. Coatings loaded with our aerogel particles have the potential to dramatically change the temperature profile of the substrate they are applied to, often keeping coating surface temperature above the point where water will condense and are providing a new option for condensation control.
Low Cost Alternative
Our thermal coating development technique is based on a selective conduction mechanism and a selective insulation mechanism, rather than the widely adopted but costly silicon back etching technique. The geometric optimization of the two low cost techniques is carried out to further improve their thermal performances. Combining those two techniques can provide comparable thermal isolation results as the back etching technique with significant cost reduction.
Reduced Thermal Bridging
Our CAB-O-SIL® fumed silica products provide a variety of functionality in industrial coatings, including corrosion resistance, rheology control, sag resistance and anti-settling. We offer CAB-O-SIL fumed silica products in both hydrophilic and hydrophobic forms, which can be selected for both polar and non-polar systems. Highly hydrophobic CAB-O-SIL fumed silica is often selected for applications such as pipe, tank and water basin coatings, which require a high level of resistance to fluids.
Ultra Sustainable
The selection of an appropriate carbon black impacts the ultimate resistivity, processability and sprayability of the coating. Our VULCAN® XC72R carbon black is specifically designed for use in conductive coatings. It delivers excellent conductivity in an easy-to-use fluffy form. Additional conductive products can also be selected from our broad conductive carbon black portfolio.
